Dreaded day as come and nearly gone
Today, I quit my job.Well, sort of. I gave my two weeks, but will continue to work part-time (1 day per week, most likely). I will be starting a 25-hour per week paid internship beginning December 1st. More details soon.
Things have changed very quickly, and it's keeping me busier than usual (not that I'm busy to begin with or anything...).
Now, I can **sigh** and stop worrying about quitting. Yes, yes, I know. I'm a total wimp.

I still think that you may be employed at some places because you never officiall quit... i.e. the theater.
ah yes, the theater.
HOWEVER, since I last worked there, it went out of business and shut down, re-opened as a second-run theater, and then switched to a first-run theater once again. SO, i think that my termination MUST HAVE occurred sometime in there.
Termination only happens when Ahnuld shows up and either shoots you through the eye or says "Come with me if you want to live." Either way, the end is near.

Quitting sucks the most when they give you a guilt trip about it and convince you to still come in one day a week. :)

oh, i gave myself a guilt trip and decided to work one day a week before i even quit!!!
It takes a lot of courage to quit = you are not a wimp :)
