Post-Schna-ulations

The Return of the Schna

I have returned to the fair land of Pittsburgh, PA (which I learned this weekend was once affectionately called "Pig Pen" (Pgh, Penn.) by the locals). The trip was great, and I have many a story to tell. However, I'm tired and I just got back, and I don't want to overwhelm you all now. Must ease back into things, no? :)

I am pleased to have made it through two flights without too much anxiety. Flying into Chicago last week was pretty terrible, and fortunately I was able to fly standby and get in well before my scheduled flight (stupid storms in Chicago). Coming back, I landed in rain in Pittsburgh...big surprise.

Just watched the movie "Autofocus" with Greg Kinnear and Wilem Dafoe. Still formulating an opinion. Started reading "Trainspotting" this weekend...digging it so far - very good.

Oh, oh...AWESOME Cubs game on Thursday. They won 13-2...lots of home runs (including an Aramis Ramirez grand slam (4th GS I've seen in person this season -second for the Cubs (2 for the Pirates))). Anyway, more tomorrow. Pleasant dreams! :)
