In search of the goat...

In my search to find a 1978 Kenner Toys Gobbles the crazy eating goat (which continues to fail), I discovered this site which has 4 pages of the "coolest toys ever". I miss many of these toys.
If and when the goat search yields results, I will post them here. Does anyone else remember the plastic chomping goat? You could open a compartment in his side and remove what he had eaten (it included a wrench, a string of sausages, and a rope - i can't remember the other things at the moment). Then, you would stick one in his mouth and pump his tail to make him eat the things again. He was awesome.
Anyway, enjoy the nostalgic trip that the link above might inspire.

Damn...I wish I still had that Atari. It's gotta be around here somewhere!

we have an atari 7800 here, with several games. :) of course, it doesn't get as much play time as the PS2, but once in a while, playing PacMan or Combat is great.

Heck, if you want Pac Man, I have a small PC version in ZIP format I could send you. Not a very big file. Email me if you want it.

YOU FOUND THE GOAT!!!!
Our Gobbles was white, but I'd take a brown one, and she has TWO!!

I had forgotten about the saddlebags too (i thought you just opened up his side).

It sounds like she wanted the goat more than me!!

I think my mom sold ours in a garage sale - either that or it's buried in her basement somewhere.

I am very impressed that you found the goat though. :)

You should go search your mom's house for it. Jake lives next door in my Grandma's (former, though she still owns it) house. He and Lain can help you out.
