It's alive!
The holidays proved to be very holidayesque this year. We were running around from one place to another, having Christmas with various segments of our families, visiting friends, etc etc. My Mom had a really nice wedding reception/party for us in my Grandma's basement - I will post a few pictures, but I have uploaded all of Tiffanie's pictures to Flickr and will be posting my pictures there soon. So, if you were there and want to admire yourself, or if you weren't there but want to gawk at those who were, check it out. It is in a set entitled Chicago Reception (to differentiate it from the Pittsburgh reception). I sort of felt like I was back in high school, at one of the combined family/friends parties that my Mom would have for things like graduation or some other milestone event. But this time, people had kids. Tres zarb (I would thank my junior high French teacher for that, but I am currently blanking on her name - my two more recent French teachers names are interfering...).In other news, I have officially schedules my thesis defense. woo hoo! Now I just have to write the stupid thing.
Okay okay, I know you just want to look at pictures. I'll shut up.
p.s. Sorry to those with dial-up. Hope you enjoyed your lunch break. :)
