See!!! This is what you get when I haven't blogged in ages! PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!!!!!!
I just updated my flickr page for the first time in a couple of months. I have a bunch of pictures still to upload, from my non-digital camera, but that's going to take a while. Perhaps later this weekend...
Nose to nose
Nose to nose
Originally uploaded by sbjuengst. This is one of my favorites - Sadie and Madison, checking each other out. Maddie is a couple of months older than Sadie (she's a boxer, if you couldn't tell). They love each other, which is good because then they can wear each other out. This was their first meeting, I believe. It was in early March of this year.
Maddie is Sadie's puppy class buddy - the car ride to class is always interesting...
Pups at the Park
Dog park fun
Originally uploaded by sbjuengst. That's Sadie in motion, as Pancho looks on. This was earlier this month when we took them to Frick Park (with their buddies Madison and Ralphie (not pictured)). It will give you a better idea of just how big she is getting, and the size differential between Sadie and the Panch. She's VERY long and tall - if she fills out like a Shepherd, then she'll be 90 pounds. eek! Still, her dad is long and tall, but thin (about 75 pounds), so that could be what we get from her. Guess we'll just have to see. Now, she's probably 65 pounds or so.

400th post
So, the posting has slowed down significantly, I know. The upcoming week is my last of the semester. After this week, I will be back to working 5 days a week, though this time it will be in 4 different places, with only 2 of those places actually PAYING me.
I have oh so many stories to tell, but since you all know I work out in Johnstown, and the stories are all about my students out in Johnstown, I cannot really tell the stories without breaking confidentiality. grr!!
I have several photos on my camera to put into flickr, and several more photos to download and post - this should occur soon.
Nothing
Whenever I am not sitting in front of a computer with the time to post, I think of many things to write about. Then, the time comes at last when I find myself here, with the blank screen before me and ten minutes to spare. What do I have then? Nothing.
Still nothing.
Though I won't take the credits until next Spring, I will be starting to get things for my thesis rolling in the next couple of weeks. What it is on, I'm still not entirely sure. I know my population though, which is a start!
The thought of being almost halfway through my program is somewhat frightening, as I have NO idea what I really want to do. Still, my internship (which will start next summer), will most likely go through the end of December (2007), since I will only be going 2 days per week (most likely). And, since it will be the same thing I've been doing for the past 5 months in Johnstown (in fact, it will be the same position I have currently in Johnstown), I will continue to get PAID through the end of December (2007).
Oh, so last night, the Ms. Coco informed me that I'm not invited to her wedding, but LHPJ IS invited. After much whining on my part, she said that LHPJ and I could split one invitation. We will have to fight over who gets which half (I'm guessing I'm going to lose and get stuck with the ceremony instead of the party). Of course, I know where she lives AND where she's having the wedding. Scheming shall commence post haste.
A week from tomorrow, I will be seeing the Cubs play at the Pirates at PNC. I will be facing the eternal dilemma of cheering for the Cubs, even though I don't want the Pirates to lose (particularly in their home stadium). Hopefully the Pirates will have actually WON a game by then...
Okay, I guess that's better than nothing.
Oh...coming soon, a link to the cow game (the most addictive game ever). Sadly, I have reached the highest level. There is no more. For me, the cows are silent. :(
