Sadie takes a break on Memorial Day, hiding out in the plants of our backyard. I was not there to witness this in person, as I was in Denver, but LHPJ got this great picture.

Rock N Roll!!!

Rock N Roll!!!

I won't comment on what was inhaled, ingested, or otherwise consumed at this party, but needless to say, it was a wild, crazy time.
I'm particularly fond of this photo of The Don and myself gettin' down with our metal selves. I believe that The Scorpions were playing in the background - they're metal, right?
:) Okay, seriously, I'm kidding. I figured you would all know that, but I couldn't take the risk that ANYONE would take me seriously about The Scorpions being metal (ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE!!) OR about the possibility that The Scorpions would actually be playing in the background.

So, how many times can I mention The Scorpions in one post? This is more press than they've gotten in the past decade.

p.s. I'm wearing all black because I went to the party immediately following a performance of Amahl and the Night Visitors - I have not regressed to my pubescent days of all black on a regular basis. :)

This is an old picture of Pancho, from our first apartment in Pittsburgh (sometime between the Fall of 2002 and the summer of 2003). I have countless pictures of Pancho sleeping, I know. Still, it doesn't get much cuter than this.

Two weeks and counting...

I have now officially had this freakin' cold for two weeks. True, it has morphed from one kind of cold into another, but I'M FREAKIN' SICK OF IT!!!!
It's a holiday weekend, so I have time to recover, but would also like to take this opportunity to have some fun. Today was okay, because we watched World Cup all afternoon (Vive la France!), but by tomorrow, I would like to be out and about for a change. Stupid cold.
