Going to see the Cubs in the postseason

Well, it's old news now that the Cubs clinched their division. Playoff game 1 starts in 18 minutes in Arizona. In three days, we'll be at game 3, being the crazy Cubs fans we are.

Yes, I'm a dork. I have the "Go Cubs Go" song downloaded in my ITunes. Go ahead, laugh. Yeah, get it all out now. Who'll be laughing if the Cubs win the World Series?

Oh shut up, I can dream, can't I?

If you watch the game Saturday, look for us in the left center field bleachers - row 8.

Funny how it worked out - this is just about where we sat on our Senior Ditch Day when we went to a Cubs game - this was technically the "first date" for LHPJ and me. yes, sigh and marvel over the cuteness of it. are you done making fun of me now?

GO CUBS GO!!!

I am going to DVR the game Saturday to try and capture the moment when the game winning home run ball knocks the beers out of Jon's hands.

I went to school on Senior Ditch Day.

That pivotal moment in my learning career got me the high paying job I have today.

If you did DVR the game, you can watch for the guy who threw his hat on the field during the 6th or 7th inning. He was sitting right in front of us.

The Diamondbacks are now 2-0 in the postseason when I am at the game. Not quite the record I was hoping for, but at least I like them still, so there's a tinge of sweet to my bitter...

I'm pretty sure we sat in the first two rows just to the left of the juniper bushes, which would put us closer to center or right-center. I know we looked at Brian McRae's back a lot as the Cubs ate the Giants for lunch.

Wait, you and Jon (still never latched on to the LHPJ thing) were "dating" that day? What the hell was I paying attention to.

Oh, wait. I remember. Carry on, then.

(Side note: you know who I miss hanging out with? Cody.)
